(Valley Forge, Pa.) – CertainTeed Corporation is proud to recognize Three Sons Window and Door, Waltham, Mass., with its Remodeler Project of the Quarter award, recognizing the company’s dedication to restoring a single-family home impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

The single family, Dutch Colonial home’s roof was in severe disrepair after suffering storm damage during Hurricane Sandy. The wood shingle siding was also in need of light repair. In addition to the renovation, the homeowners wanted to construct a new farmer’s porch.

“We’ve used CertainTeed products for almost 20 years and are always impressed with their wide range of product styles and colors,” said Paul Nutile, president and lead sales, Three Sons Window and Door. “The homeowners were in desperate need of a new roof and we were confident CertainTeed’s products would give them the comfort and protection they needed while allowing them to create the exact look they desired.”

The home’s exterior featured Landmark™ roofing in the color Granite Grey and Cedar Impressions® Shingles in the color Flagstone accompanied by Panorama® Railing and Evernew® Decking.

“We are proud to congratulate Three Sons Window and Door on their outstanding craftsmanship,” said Richard DeMild, territory manager for CertainTeed Siding. “Three Sons Window and Door are committed to providing their customers with the best service and building materials possible.”

“The homeowners had experienced some damage from Hurricane Sandy and it was great to see the level of expertise Three Sons Window and Door gave this project. We are thrilled to be associated with such a reputable company,” added Randy Hathaway, territory manager for CertainTeed Siding.
