(Valley Forge, Pa.) – CertainTeed Corporation strengthens its solar product portfolio with the introduction of the Solstice™ Solar Roofing System, featuring highly efficient, monocrystalline photovoltaic (PV) panels. The rack-mounted, high-performance modules are attractive, durable, and can easily be installed onto either a low-slope or steep-slope roof. Solstice is also backed by CertainTeed’s electricity output and installation workmanship warranty – one of the most comprehensive in the industry.

Solstice showcases an aesthetically pleasing style with black cells laminated to a black back sheet and a black mounting frame. Each 47-pound module contains 60 high-efficiency monocrystalline solar cells, producing a maximum electric power rating of 250 watts per module. The system is available in AC and DC versions. Each kit contains the panels, racking, mounting clamps, flashing accessories, inverter and an optional monitoring system.
