Gain a Higher Perspective with New EverNew® Kingston Steep Stair Railing

CertainTeed expands weather-resistant vinyl railing system to include elevated angled stair options

(Valley Forge, Pa.) – CertainTeed is taking outdoor living spaces to new heights by expanding its popular EverNew® Kingston vinyl railing system to include a steep stair option. Available in white, almond or clay, Kingston offers classic wood styling in a durable, low-maintenance broad-loaf design for both top and bottom rails. The new option helps strengthen CertainTeed's position as the leading provider of exterior products that help meet an array of homeowner preferences.

"Supplying a wide assortment of railing options is just one of many ways we meet the needs of our customers," said Doug Mucher, marketing manager for CertainTeed Outdoor Living and Trim. "By offering the steep stair option, it allows contractors to incorporate Kingston railing into even more design applications."

The new Kingston railing steep stair option comes in six- and eight-feet wide selections and two heights; 36-inches high with square and traditional balusters and 42- inches high with square balusters. The latest style also contains a new bracket kit — an aluminum bracket and longer vinyl cover — designed to accommodate the steeper angle, simultaneously creating a seamless appearance while preventing rust and corrosion.
