(Valley Forge, Pa.) – With the CertainTeed Roofing Guide app, homeowners can now easily drive inspiration for their home’s exterior color palette. The user-friendly mobile application, updated for iPad and now available for Android tablets, is an easy and efficient way to showcase CertainTeed’s shingle color and design options.
To offer homeowners a holistic approach on selecting a roofing system, the app includes the latest CertainTeed Roofing products, a layer-by-layer look at the components of the Integrity Roof System™, an accessories brochure, and the CertainTeed Idea Book, which depicts an array of inspiring design options.
“Remodeling ideas can be sparked anywhere – driving through a neighborhood or enjoying vacation,” said Alexandre Pecora, director of residential product marketing for CertainTeed Roofing. “Because of this, we wanted to provide a mobile tool that makes viewing images and products easy for homeowners, no matter their location.”
The image library included with the CertainTeed Roofing Guide download means that users do not need an Internet connection to view products once the app has been installed. This makes it easy for those on the go to get an up-close look at high quality shingle images in categories ranging from Traditional to Luxury, all organized by regional availability. Among the new features is the ‘Profile’ functionality, which allows users to save their favorite shingles for quick recall and viewing. In addition to its intuitive program features, the app also provides information on roofing warranties to give homeowners an understanding of how CertainTeed will protect their investment.
