CertainTeed’s New Easi-Lite™ Interior Ceiling Board Offers Lightweight Design for Easy Handling, Optimal Sag Resistance
(Mississauga, Ont.) – CertainTeed is building upon the growing demand for more ergonomic, lightweight drywall solutions through the introduction of Easi-Lite™ Interior Ceiling Board in the Canadian market. Up to 30 percent lighter than other interior ceiling performance boards, Easi-Lite Interior Ceiling Board is installer-friendly without compromising the superior sag resistance needed in high-performance ceiling installations. The lightweight design helps installers work more efficiently and effectively, especially on projects with challenging overhead manipulation and scaffolding heights.

Offering the same benefits as a traditional interior ceiling board, Easi-Lite Interior Ceiling Board features a uniform high-strength, sag-resistant gypsum core with 100 percent recycled face and back paper. The product can be used on interior ceilings with framing up to 610 mm (24 in.) and is intended for installation on a perpendicular orientation to framing members when water-based texture is applied.
