(Valley Forge, Pa.) – CertainTeed introduces Restoration Classic™, its newest vinyl siding product line. The premium thickness cladding is available in five popular styles — three profiles in a Select Cedar finish with a natural wood grain appearance, and two smooth, architecturally accurate profiles designed in the tradition of 17th Century American craftsmanship to replicate the authentic look of carefully sanded, sealed and painted wood. The product line showcases 28 popular low-gloss finish designer colors from Colonial White to a dark, rich Forest green, as well as a wide variety of coordinating accessories and decorative trim.

“Restoration Classic is the brainchild of our customers’ feedback, combining the most asked for price point, aesthetics and durability, with ease of installation,” says Brian Kirn, product manager for CertainTeed Siding. “It’s a product line manufactured to satisfy both the building professional and homeowner and its deluxe color choices further solidify our position as the industry color leader.”

Restoration Classic features a .044-inch thickness, 5/8-inch panel projection with RigidForm™ 180 technology, and is tested to withstand wind load pressures up to 180 mph. Patented STUDfinder™ technology ensures precise and accurate installation and the DuraLock® post-formed lock design provides larger than ordinary locks for a secure snap fit. The product family is also virtually maintenance-free, never needs painting, is Class 1(A) fire-rated and backed by a lifetime, limited warranty. In addition, the collection utilizes the PermaColor™ System, for guaranteed lifetime fade protection, impact resistance and durability.
