CertainTeed Insulation Signs Popular Celebrity Carpenter Kate Campbell as Canadian Brand Ambassador

(Mississauga, Ontario) June 19, 2015–Celebrity carpenter and media personality Kate Campbell is partnering with CertainTeed Insulation in Canada to help educate homeowners and building professionals about the optimal thermal efficiency of CertainTeed Sustainable Insulation™, a proven fiberglass technology that is easy to install and offers excellent thermal, acoustical and indoor air quality properties. It is made from recycled and renewable content including a plant-based binder and contains no formaldehydes, dyes, acrylics or unnecessary fire retardant chemicals.

"Her strong work ethic, dedication to quality and leadership in the industry make her a perfect match for the CertainTeed Insulation brand. We are delighted to be working with Kate in our shared commitment to providing high performance building solutions."
Campbell is a carpenter well-known as a Crew Member on HGTV’s "Decked Out," "Disaster Decks," "Deck Wars" and "Custom Built." She will also be a host of an upcoming HGTV show filming this summer that is slated to air in 2016. CertainTeed will also have a presence in other projects that Campbell has in the works. These include a show which will chronicle her renovation and restoration of a 150-year-old heritage home. It is being filmed for potential TV airing in addition to being seen at KateBuilds.ca, a platform that Campbell will use to inspire her followers and showcase her projects.
Campbell says, "I am excited to be joining the CertainTeed Insulation team and thankful for their support of my efforts to break new ground and challenge stereotypes in the industry. I look forward to working with them to show homeowners across Canada how they can ensure complete comfort for their home with the superior thermal performance of CertainTeed Sustainable Insulation."
The innovative CertainTeed Insulation products endorsed by Campbell also include MemBrain™ Continuous Air Barrier & Smart Vapor Retarder, a first-of-its-kind polyamide film that not only blocks moisture from entering but also adapts permeability to allow excess moisture to escape from wall cavities, helping reduce the potential for mould growth and other moisture-related problems.
