CertainTeed Gypsum Supports Two Local Habitat for Humanity Families
“Habitat for Humanity has a strong tradition of building quality homes for families and CertainTeed’s wallboard products are a perfect fit,” says Dennis Watson, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Belmont County. “On behalf of our Board of Directors, volunteers and partner families, we are thankful to CertainTeed for their support.”
The homes were completed and the Cummings and Stackhouse families moved in last fall.
“We are pleased to partner with Habitat for Humanity and commend their efforts to improve Belmont County,” said Amy Lee, marketing communications manager for CertainTeed Gypsum. “Our wallboard products will help contribute to a healthy, comfortable home for many years to come.”

In 2009 and 2010, CertainTeed, which is headquartered in Valley Forge, Pa., was named ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a national award that recognizes environmentally responsible corporations.
