CertainTeed Doubles Down on Innovation, Contractors at the 2017 Western Roofing Expo

Manufacturer to showcase latest asphalt shingle designs, credential programs and more in Las Vegas

(Malvern, Pa.) – CertainTeed, a leading North American manufacturer of building materials, is set to highlight the latest product offerings in the company’s roofing portfolio, along with new contractor credential programs, at the 2017 Western Roofing Expo. All attendees are encouraged to stop by booth #305, June 12-13, at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV to get an inside look at new shingle and accessory products, line expansions, and valuable contractor programs offered by CertainTeed.

With innovation at the heart of this year’s presence for CertainTeed, the company is poised to feature an array of new products, which include:

Arcadia Shake® – Arcadia Shake shingles offer the most authentic replication of classic shake roofing available today. Four layers of highly-refined asphalt make up these large format shingles which meet the industry’s highest fire resistance rating, while offering longevity and

durability unmatched by real wood shake. Arcadia Shake is available in an array of colors, including solar reflecting options, that will enhance nearly any exterior and provide true curb appeal.

Belmont® – Belmont blends the natural beauty of slate with the state-of-the-art performance characteristics of luxury asphalt roofing, resulting in a high-quality product that is affordable and immediately adds traditional charm to any home. This architectural laminate shingle is available

in six dynamic colors that capture the depth and dimension of natural slate. Belmont is maintenance free, wind and fire resistant, and comes with a lifetime limited warranty, providing homeowners with total peace of mind. Class IV impact resistant versions are available in the central United States.

RoofRunner™ – Rounding out the new product offerings from CertainTeed is RoofRunner, a lightweight and tear-resistant synthetic polymer-based underlayment. Featuring a scrim-reinforced, high traction, water-resistant surface for safe wet/dry walkability, and a large roll size (48” x 250’), contractors will appreciate RoofRunner’s speedy ease of installation. In addition to exceeding the performance requirements of ASTM D226 and D4869, RoofRunner is Class A fire rated and complies with ICC-ES AC188.

NorthGate® SBS-Modified Asphalt Shingle – Engineered for harsh climates and cold weather, NorthGate’s SBS polymer-modified composition allows it to remain flexible at temperatures as low as 0° F (-18°C) enhancing its weatherability and making it easier to install in cold climates. The two-piece laminated fiberglass-based shingle also meets the requirements of UL 2218 Class 4 for impact resistance – the highest rating possible.

Solaris® Solar Reflective Shingles – Cool roofing is more popular than ever, and CertainTeed continues to expand the availability of Solaris solar reflective colors within its product lines.

New this year are additions to the following premium and luxury product lines, which can be used to comply with the 2016 California Title 24 Part 6 Cool Roof Requirements:
