CertainTeed Corporation Introduces its Lightest, Most Portable Volu-Matic® Insulation Blowing Machine
(Valley Forge, Pa.) – CertainTeed Corporation is expanding its top-of-the-line series of insulation application machines with the new Volu-Matic® MS insulation blowing machine, the company’s lightest and most portable blowing machine yet. The smaller size and weight of the Volu-Matic MS is designed to help contractors increase efficiencies in a wider variety of projects without sacrificing performance.
Volu-Matic MS is easily transported by truck, trailer or pick-up and is optimized for weatherization work and small- to medium-size jobs. It provides an economical option for smaller contractors, distributors and rental centers to achieve excellent blowing speeds and fiber conditioning, but at a lower investment. It can also help larger contractors add capacity without adding new trucks or replace a less reliable older machine. Volu-Matic MS features a 14-horsepower, gas-powered engine that eliminates the need for on-site electricity and power cords, making it a reliable option on a wider variety of job sites.

Compatible with fiberglass, rockwool and cellulose insulations, the Volu-Matic MS measures 68 inches high by 54 inches wide by 46.5 inches deep and weighs 850 pounds. It features a fully sealed blow-though air-lock feeder, which provides a consistent flow of insulation, and a blower air bleed system that allows the user to control air volume to aid in fine tuning air-to-material ratio. It also includes a material control slide that allows the operator to adjust material flow to the shredder. The Volu-Matic MS is available with optional wireless remote control.
