CertainTeed® Bufftech® Hyde Park Privacy Vinyl Fence Designed for Hilly Terrain Now Available in Ottawa and Toronto
Hyde Park’s new H-Post design delivers simpler bracket installation, smooth aesthetics and solid performance

(Malvern, Pa.) – Introducing Canada’s most popular vinyl fence post design in a sought after privacy style — CertainTeed® Bufftech® Hyde Park is perfect for meeting the demands of the hilly grades common to the Ottawa and Toronto areas. Post openings and channels make for an easier, high-quality installation for the challenges contractors often face with the steep terrain.
Heavyweight pickets provide impact resistance while reducing movement, and steel reinforced rails add strength and durability.
“Contractors are sure to love the use of brackets versus the screw and plug installation offered by competitive brands,” said Doug Mucher, marketing manager for CertainTeed Outdoor Living. “Their customers will love the overall aesthetic, quality, and durability for years to come.”
Some of Hyde Park’s best features are actually hidden. There are no unsightly screws and plugs. In addition, it offers a hidden bracket attachment system. Concealed fasteners provide a sleek, clean finish and a secure installation. More importantly, the product installs 2 m (8-ft.) on center for time and cost-savings, requiring less material and labor.
Other features are both visible and viable. Three colors—White, Almond and Natural Clay—give property owners popular hues to choose from to accent their properties while providing privacy. That privacy can be realized in heights of 1.5 m (5-ft.), 1.8 m (6-ft.) and 2.1 m (7-ft.). With the decorative lattice accent option, the finished height is 1.8 m (6-ft.), or 1.5 m (5-ft.) privacy, plus 30 cm (1-ft.) accent height. There are also matching, heavy-duty, pre-assembled gates and gate kits.
Hyde Park meets most building codes for pool fencing requirements. In addition, it is covered by a limited transferable warranty backed by the company’s exclusive 5-year SureStart™ parts and labor protection plan.
