CertainTeed Brings Fence Projects to Life at Every Angle With New 3D Visualization Software
(Valley Forge, Pa.) – Building professionals can bring their next fence project to life with RealScape 3D, a new 3D outdoor project modeling and visualization tool offered by CertainTeed Corporation through a partnership with Software Design Associates. The innovative software is customized for use with CertainTeed’s complete Bufftech® vinyl fence line and allows contractors to showcase their projects in a virtual world with incredible detail from every angle and height.
With RealScape 3D, building professionals can access projects from any computer and create unique webpage proposals that can be delivered to web-enabled mobile phones through e-mail and text, or shared via social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. Building professionals can pair proposals with a video tour of the project using a recorded message or music and can even utilize outdoor background sounds.
“This inventive, new technology introduces the next step in fence design and helps building professionals offer a visual of their fence models, streamlining design decisions and increasing their competitive edge,” says Doug Mucher, product manager for CertainTeed Fence, Railing and Deck. “The software also helps contractors create proposals that will help drive sales.”
RealScape 3D offers an extensive library of design options that include the Bufftech premium vinyl fence line. The nearly endless color, style, textures and size options allow building professionals to easily create an outdoor living space that fits any home design. Once a model has been created, RealScape offers rotational views and photo imaging so that contractors can superimpose the model onto a property photo, giving homeowners a sneak preview of their new fence project.
Bufftech leads the vinyl fence industry with the widest array of styles, colors and textures. CertaGrain and Select Cedar authentic woodgrain textures recreate the look of natural wood fencing in an easy-care design, while the CertaStuccoTM texture offers an innovative alternative to traditional stucco walls.
