Building Professionals Vote CertainTeed® Vinyl Siding #1 for 22 Years Running

CertainTeed roofing products also make impressive showing in 2018 Builder Magazine Brand Use Study

(Malvern, Pa.) – For the 22nd consecutive year, building professionals named CertainTeed® vinyl siding the overall brand leader in Builder magazine’s 2018 Brand Use Study. Conducted in collaboration with The Farnsworth Group, the study asked building professionals to rank products based on familiarity, frequency of use and overall quality. CertainTeed vinyl siding products swept all four categories: ‘Brand Used Past Two Years,’ ‘Brands Used Most,’ ‘Brand Familiarity’ and ‘Quality Rating.’ CertainTeed’s metal, synthetic and asphalt roofing shingles also made an impressive showing, taking the top ranking in ‘Brand Used Past Two Years’ and ‘Brands Used Most’ categories. Metal and synthetic roofing products each added a third first place designation for ‘Brand Familiarity.’

One of the most anticipated industry annual resources for trends, brand and product information, the 2018 Brand Use Study represents a sample of 956 qualified builders, builder/developers and general contractors.

“CertainTeed has a long-established reputation in manufacturing high-quality, U.S.-made siding products in an industry-leading array of textures, colors and profiles,” said Matt Gibson, director, vinyl and marketing communications for CertainTeed Siding. “The Brand Use Study offers a credible resource for exterior cladding solutions, and we are especially proud to receive this recognition from the building community for over two decades.”
