CertainTeed ‘Raises the Roof’ at the 2017 International Roofing Expo
Innovations in strength, performance, and beauty will be on display in Las Vegas
(Malvern, Pa.) – CertainTeed, a leading North American manufacturer of building materials, is poised to excite the crowd at the 2017 International Roofing Expo (IRE), highlighting the latest product offerings in the company’s portfolio. Show attendees are encouraged to stop by booth #1317, March 1-3, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV to get a first-hand look at new shingle and accessory products, additions to popular product lines, and expansions to valuable contractor programs.
Building on the company’s commitment to delivering high quality materials to the industry, this year's show will feature an array of new products and IRE firsts that include:
Arcadia Shake® – Arcadia Shake shingles provide the most authentic replication of classic shake roofing available today. Made from four layers of highly-refined asphalt, these large format shingles meet the industry’s highest fire resistance rating, and offer longevity and durability unmatched by real wood shake. Arcadia Shake is available in an array of colors, including CRRC-rated solar reflecting options, that will enhance nearly any exterior and provide true curb appeal.
Belmont™ – Belmont blends the natural beauty of slate with the state-of-the-art performance characteristics of luxury asphalt roofing, resulting in a high-quality product that is affordable and immediately adds traditional charm to any home. This architectural laminate shingle is available
in six dynamic colors that capture the depth and dimension of natural slate. Belmont is maintenance free, wind and fire resistant, and comes with a lifetime limited warranty, providing homeowners with total peace of mind. Class IV impact resistant versions are available in the central United States.
Matterhorn® Metal Roofing – The award-winning, architecturally beautiful product line is available in three hyper-realistic profiles – Tile, Slate and Shake – which replicate the color, dimension and detail of classical roofing in the form of steel. Recognized as affordable improvements over their traditional counterparts, each Matterhorn profile offers exceptional solar reflectance, impact resistance and long-term durability.
RoofRunner™ – Rounding out the new product offerings from CertainTeed is RoofRunner, a lightweight and tear-resistant synthetic polymer-based underlayment. Featuring a scrim-reinforced, high traction, water-resistant surface for safe wet/dry walkability, and a large roll size (48” x 250’), contractors will appreciate RoofRunner’s speedy ease of installation. In addition to exceeding the performance requirements of ASTM D226 and D4869, RoofRunner is Class A fire rated and complies with ICC-ES AC188.
“We’re thrilled to be at the 2017 International Roofing Expo showcasing the newest additions to our quality product offerings,” said Bob Gardiner, VP of Marketing for CertainTeed Roofing. “While curb appeal continues to be an important factor in selecting a roof for a home, performance and value play a large part in choosing a product. We feel that our newest offerings will exceed the expectations of our customers, and we look forward to demonstrating this at the show.”
In addition to the premier of new products, CertainTeed will also feature:
